Upcoming Film Screening:  Saltburn Arts

We are excited to be running a Nature Matters screening at Saltburn Arts at the North East Coast. It is happening on 17 March 2024 at 2:00pm.

The screening is part of an ongoing screening series that has been touring Yorkshire and the North East regions over the past year.

This is the first one happening in Saltburn, and it gives you the rare opportunity to explore the region's relationship to nature through around 120 years of archive film. It will ask questions of; How has the climate changed? What might it look like in the future? And what role does film play in telling this narrative?

The film shows will be presented by Martha Cattell from the Yorkshire and North East Film Archives who will take audiences on a journey through the film archives, exploring different environmental stories of Yorkshire and the North East including from the local Saltburn area. You will see themes that traverse time: from weather, wildlife, travel and activism.

The film show will last around 90 minutes, with an opportunity for questions at the end.

Make sure to book your tickets now via Saltburn Arts Website.
