This is one of many short wedding films made by Derrick Walton of family and friends, each following a similar format, with the bride always dressed in white. This film features the wedding Michael and Carol on 13th August, 1983.
The film begins with two men, the groom and the best man, arriving at the church, followed by the guests. Then the bridesmaids arrive and the bride and her father. The newlyweds walk down the aisle out of the church. They are followed by the guests. Outside the bride and groom pose for photos. Following this, they are showered with confetti before again posing for photographs, along with others. The film then switches to the reception, held outside on a sunny day. Some of the guests sit on chairs while others stand talking on the lawn. The film finishes showing confetti scattered on the floor.
