This is one of many short wedding films made by Derrick Walton of family and friends, each following a similar format, with the bride always dressed in white. This film features the wedding of Kathryn and Arthur on 19th February, 1977.
The film begins showing the noticeboard for Skipton Parish Church, with the clock tower showing 11.10. Two men arrive for the wedding followed by a woman in pink and a younger woman and a girl both wearing the same Victorian dress. These are followed by more guests arriving and then the bride and her father posing for the camera. With the clock now at 12 noon the newlyweds stand at the church entrance posing for photographers. They then leave and are seen arriving at the reception, and the film comes to an end.
