This is one of many short wedding films made by Derrick Walton of family and friends, each following a similar format, with the bride always dressed in white. This film features the wedding of Peggy and John on 9th May, 1964.
The film begins showing a church clock tower at 11.20. Below are some guests who are awaiting the arrival of the bride and groom. More guests arrive, including the bride, in middle age, all in pink with a pink frilly hat. There is a shot of a large stained glass window from inside the church. After the ceremony, the newlyweds pose with the choristers outside the church. After some time milling around, the guests make their way from the church and throw confetti over the newlyweds as they come through the church gate. The film finishes showing the newlyweds seated at the head table at the reception.
