This is one of many short wedding films made by Derrick Walton of family and friends, each following a similar format, with the bride always dressed in white.
The film begins showing a church clock tower at 10.10. Guests arrive at the church, and at 10.25, the two bridesmaids arrive. Each of the women is dressed in a red dress and a white muff. Then the bride arrives with her father. Lots of people are mingling around outside the church. Finally the newlyweds emerge. The bride bends down to receive a present from a small boy. After posing for photographs, the newlyweds have confetti thrown over them as they get into their waiting car. There is an electric sign for the ‘Black Horse Hotel’. Inside the newlyweds prepare to cut the wedding cake as the guests look on from their seats. The newlyweds drink a toast. All the guests sit, waiting to be served. Afterwards the groom carries the bride out and the film comes to an end.
