The film begins with the family returning from a walk in the wood. A man and a girl stop to look at something on the lake through binoculars. They cross a fast flowing river by a footbridge and walk along the river until they reach a lake where they go for a boat ride. They have a go on a putting green before going on another hike. Two boys clamber over rocks and wave to the camera. At the top of a hill they lean on a pile of rocks before making their way back down and along a country road to where the car is parked next to a caravan. They head off walking through a wood, with autumnal leaves, picking fruit. They stop for a drink and there is a sign for waterfalls. They climb over a stile, and go over a footbridge until they reach the two-tier waterfall. They continue their walk and reach a house covered in a bright red flowered plant as the film comes to an end.
