The film begins with Patricia Phoenix, who played Elsie Tanner in Coronation Street, handing out prizes. She gets into a traction engine and gets driven off. The traction engines do a circle of the field with a large crowd at the side watching. These are followed by vintage cars. Then, there are children at a fairground on the rides, including a carousel. A boy wins a prize on the shooting stall. More prizes are handed out and people begin to leave as the film comes to an end.
