The film begins with a family out on a trip in the countryside.  They walk below a large rock upon which a plaque has been embedded.  There is a shot of their coach, and the family admire the view and consult a map.  Two boys wear the same striped jumper.  They visit Wells Cathedral, filming the front, and then visit Glastonbury Abbey.  A group of young men walk around the grounds of the Abbey.  They then walk across Clifton Suspension Bridge, led by a boy, David Tyas, with a camera hanging around his neck, and visit Bristol Zoo.
