The film opens with two students playing in the sea at Scarborough beach, before the filmmaker captures the shoreline with the tide coming in and the waves buffeting the sea walls. Brief views show a stone castle, before a student covers his mouth with a stick of candy floss on the promenade. The following sequence shows the shops and attractions that line the promenade: 'Scarborough Rock', 'Corrigans', 'Butlins Grand hotel' and the 'Wax works'. Several stone ruins stand on a hill high above, before a sign reads, 'Borough of Scarborough' and gives directions to Peasholm Park.
A group of students and teachers stand in a car park and some wear swimming costumes while another boy holds what appears to be a pair of socks tied together. A brief view shows Peasholm Park and across the water lays several blow-up faces. Towel round waist, a young male student then walks along a main road and places a piece of rubbish into a bin. The film concludes with a shot then captures the group eating fish and chips in the back of a van.
