Title-A Nodrog Production
The voiceover talks about the Crich Tramway Museum in Derbyshire, which is fully run and funded by tramway enthusiasts.
A tram drives along a road in the direction of the camera and then drives into the distance. The camera is at a slight height looking down onto the tracks and capturing the trams as they drive in and out of the town. There is a shot of a `Crich Tramway Museum Handbook 1964'.
A tram full of people makes its way down a track on a hill; there are some stationary trams at the bottom of the hill. A young boy climbs onto one of them, pays the conductor and then there is a point of view shot from the driver's cab, as it begins to move off.
A group of men travel along some tracks on a permanent way wagon and then there are shots of them shovelling and carting soil and tipping it into another cart. There are further shots of the trams driving along the tracks, point of view shots from the driver's cab and shots of the tram stopping at its destination. Some men work on the stationary tram while other visitors climb aboard an open top tram. There are point of view shots taken from the top of the tram as it drives along.
Title-The End.
Title-8mm movie maker, top 8 1966, highly commended.
