It contains footage from a couple of weddings, including one which had the wedding photographs taken at the Royal Pavilion in Brighton. Alec's family were Russian Jews who escaped the troubles and set up a tailoring business in Leeds. Alec developed a keen interest in film and theatre and set up the first film society outside of London. His films capture family life and social events as well as educational and promotional style films made to encourage people to keep the Jewish way of life.

After the ceremony the married couple stand and pose for photographs in the grounds of the Royal Pavilion in Brighton, while a lot of passers-by have gathered along the wall of the grounds to watch the couple.
The next section is in black and white.
There is a shot of the huge temple building in the Royal Pavilion and then a young woman looks down into the lens of the camera. There are shots of another wedding couple and the groom (a doctor from Leeds) is kneeling on the grass jokingly imploring the bride to do the same.
There is a shot of a bride walking into the building to get married and lots of guest stand at the door looking in. Afterwards there is a shot of the bride and groom coming back out of the building.
