Title-Riders of the Wall!
Filmed at Belle Vue Manchester.
Title-Meet Jean Perry, and Pauline and Red Crawford.
The camera is up at the top of the Wall of Death looking own onto three motorcyclists; two women and a man and two other men who smile up at the camera. The riders move out of the way and the man begins to ride up the wall. There is another shot from the top of the wall looking down at two riders who drive around each other.
Title-Daredevils of the motorcycle, they hurtle round the vertical surface of the `Wall of death'.
Two cyclists ride beside each other along the wall. There are a few men standing on the ground inside the wall watching. The camera tries to keep with the riders as they circle around and around.
Title-Slow motion makes us 10 times more determined not to try this job for a living.
One of the riders has his hands on his thighs and then he puts them out in the air as he rides around. There are more shots from the top of the wall looking down; one of them is very high up and gives a perfect direct view down.
Title-Steering one-handed or no-handed, they roar through this dizzy game.
There are more shots from the side of the wall as a bike with two passengers, rides along the wall very near the top.
Title-Higher and higher the speeds-with some of the thrills a bit nearer to the spectators too!
There is a shot from the bottom of the wall looking up at the spectators leaning over the wall to look at the bikes. When the bikes get very near the top, the spectators move back, away from the edge.
