Title-Granby Folding Plywood Boxes
Title-`Self-Lock' and `Absolock'
A man walks into shot over to a box on the ground and takes the top and bottom sections out it and then folds the box flat. The voiceover says that Granby Boxes were first made in 1954. They come in different forms, but they all have the plywood sides and metal hinges. He also says that new versions do away with the need for nails and strappings.
A man holds up a section of a box to show how the self-locking mechanism works. Then he demonstrates on a large box how the lid is fixed onto the box. The man also demonstrates how the `absolock' mechanism works. The voiceover describes what the man is doing and why.
The next shot shows the different sizes of box that Granby can make depending on the customer's requirements. The voiceover says that the boxes fold so flat and are so neat that one hundred of them make up one single load on a fork lift truck; there is a shot of a fork lift holding the load.
The man then demonstrates how strong the boxes are by leaning heavily on the corners of the box and how durable they are by having a box dropped by a fork lift truck. The voiceover continues on to say that over two thousand flat boxes can be stored in one corner of a warehouse; there is a shot of the boxes piled up against one wall.
