Title-Starting from Long Ashes, Threshfield.
Riders, their motorbikes and spectators have gathered in a field. They walk around and chat to each other and some of the riders attach their competition numbers to their bikes, other riders are waiting on their bikes; they smile at the camera. A judge is looking at some of the bikes and taking notes, he also smiles and jokes with the camera.
The camera is in front of a row of motorbikes and riders, more of them are visible in the background. There is a brief shot of one of the competitors eating a sandwich before the competition and some of the other riders sitting around smoking.
Some of the riders start off from the field and ride up a grassy hill.
Title-Moor End, Kettlewell.
From the top of a hill the camera captures a long line of riders as they snake their way up the steep, rocky track alongside a stone wall. The next part of the track is covered in small stones, and the spectators line the side, watching the riders try to ride up the track. Many of the riders wobble and bounce about as they ride along. Some of them get stuck or roll back down the hill and the judges and spectators help them to get going again. There is a long sequence of shots showing the riders struggling along the track; the shots are taken from different angles.
Title-The descent from Fosse Wood to the River Wharfe at Starbottom.
Many riders make their way along a narrow track between two stone walls and then across an overgrown field and out the other side. Following this are shots of the riders riding across a fast flowing stream while being watched by spectators from a bridge. There is a brief shot of Mrs Wood, David, and Heather standing at the side of the water throwing stones.
Title-Height Lathe on Malham Moor.
The next shots capture the riders making their way down a boulder strewn hill and down towards the camera; there is a shot of one of the judges and his scorecard.
Title-The End.
Title-C.H. Wood Bradford.
