Title - Bomb blasts.
Title - Strensall.
The film opens with a shot of the debris from a destroyed house, and there are several shots of other damaged buildings; firemen sift through metal sheets that are piled up on the ground amongst the rubble. A road block has been erected on a road; cars weave through the wooden blockades, while military personnel watch from the pavement. A shot shows two military men lifting a car boot and inspecting the contents. Firemen then turn the hose on the wreckage, before a panning shot captures the extent of the damage, which shows a building has been completely demolished as fireman hose down the remains.
Title - Ripon.
This sequence opens with a view of a two-storey stone house, which has gaping holes in different areas of the brickwork from a bomb blast. The filmmaker then shows a selection of objects damage in the explosion, which includes metal barrels and windows. From a wide shot of the residential area, the filmmaker then zooms in to show the damage inflicted on a roof, which has severe structural damage.
Title - M.62.
In a dark setting the stripped shell of a bus is shown with red seats. There is then a shot of the luggage from the bus resting on the ground. The damage to the front of the bus is then shown; mangled strips of metal lie on the floor, and as the camera pans up, it's clear the nose of the bus has been completely torn away with the driver's seat totally exposed. A close up of the drivers hat is then shown on the ground covered in soot. The filmmaker captures a shot of a reinforced jeep, which has a sign on the roof that reads 'Explosive ordnance disposal'.
Groups of men huddle round tables with plastic booths in a caf?, which has glass panels running along one side. The next shot shows the blown out bus on the motorway, with its rear completely stripped away however, and, although the damage appears severe, most seats remain in their original positions. The final shot shows some of the debris from the coach blast strewn across the motorway.
Title - The end.
