Title-The year ahead what shall it bring, at least we may be sure of spring
Blossom and birds and budding trees, Thank God, we may be sure of these.
Mrs Brackenbury sits in a room reading a book; her two daughters are on the sofa playing with two dolls. There are shots taken around the sitting room showing pots of flowers and all sorts of plants on tables.
Title-Carpets of white snowdrops heralding the arrival of spring
The forest floor is covered with snowdrops which make the trees stand out more prominently
Title-Masses of these tiny flowers tempting bees in sunny hours.
There is a shot taken in a front garden which has small clumps of flowers growing in little flowerbeds. Then the scene changes to a pathway beside a park which has large clumps of flowers blooming.
Title-The North of England Spring Show held in the Sun Pavilion
A couple of women wander through the exhibition area which contains a huge array of colourful flowers. In the background workers organise the stands, one of which is by `Backhouse of York'.
Title-Facing the sun with heads of gold, the daffodils grow straight and bold.
There is a shot of the grass hill leading up to the castle wall opposite the train station; a man stands and looks at the flowers while other people are seated on the benches reading and watching the traffic go by. There are some more shots of wide expanses of grass covered with daffodils.

A sign reads `Please leave the daffodils for other to enjoy' and this is followed by a sequence of shots of a field full of daffodils which leads down to the edge of a river.
Title-A fine display of delicate blooms and colourful leaves.
There are close ups of leaves of all shades of red and a young girl points at a wall of flowers and then smiles at the camera. Then she walks along inside a greenhouse and passes hundreds of flowers and plants. There are close ups of dozens of types of flowers including daffodils, lilies, snap dragons and daisies.
Title-Fascinating youngsters with mothers and foster-mothers.
A brief shot of birds at the top of a tree and then a woman and a young girl at a lake feeding a swan. The following scenes are taken on a farm where a young boy and girl look at lambs, piglets and pigs. Then they feed some lambs and look at the chicken and her chicks.
A nest has some blue/green eggs in it and there are some shots of birds wandering around a cage.
Title-Beneath the trees, in leafy dells, there grow the delicate bluebells.
A woman and two young girls walk through a forest and then pick flowers in a field.
Title-Skies that are blue, with blossoming trees, waving gently in the breeze.
There are close ups of cherry blossom trees, rose plants and lots of flowers.
There is a sequence of shots of the two, young girls holding hands and walking along the grass through a park. There are families sitting around in the park enjoying the weather, shots of many blooming flowers and trees and a man and woman admiring the flowers.
Title-Planted in thousands-or just a few, the wallflowers fragrance fresh as the dew.
There are shots of several people in their front gardens which have lots of colourful flowers; there is a shot of an estate and a long garden also in bloom.

The next section contains more shots of flowers in rockeries and a man sitting in a garden which has several gnomes.
A woman, who may be Mrs Brackenbury, is in the garden with her young daughter and she points out the different flowers to her.
Title-Our England is a garden and such gardens are not made by saying `Oh how beautiful' and sitting in the shade.
There are flowers in the front gardens of some houses, along park borders and then there is a shot of a couple who are most likely Mr and Mrs Brackenbury. They stand and smile at the camera.
The children are brought to a garden with gnomes and flowers, a stone cottage and peacocks wandering around.

The son is helping his father in the garden; he is hoeing the flower beds while his father trims the grass edges. The younger girl is watering some flowers at the front of the house.

There is another park full of flowers, with lots of people enjoying the park and then a shot of Harrogate town centre.
Title-`Miss Tulipland' tours England's bit of Holland at Spalding.
A cyclist wheels his bicycle past a stand with a sign which reads `Tulip-time Information', and then a car drives along a road past a field with a beautiful display of tulips that have been planted in a very accurate design.
Miss Tulip arrives in a convoy of cars, gets out and smiles at the camera. Another shot of fields full of tulips and a woman who is probably Mrs Brackenbury, smiles for the camera as she kneels down beside the field of flowers.

Title-In a garden green and gay all my troubles fade away, sweet contentment here I find, joy of heart and peace of mind.
A couple, most likely Mr and Mrs Brackenbury, sit in their garden reading, while one of their daughters sits beside them. The youngest girl tries to blow the seeds off a dandelion stalk but keeps missing. The final shot is of the older boy and girl sitting on the grass and arranging flower petals into the words `The End'.
