Made by members of the Harrogate Cine club, this film shows lots of different animals at Chester Zoo. Intertitle: "Tit-bit hunters" (featuring illustrations of various animals). There are people on a lawn, some at tables, some sat on the grass. Three women walk towards the camera eating ice lollies, and one of the women smiles. They are followed by a man wearing a suit and hat, with his blazer hanging off one shoulder. Penguins waddle around in their habitat, quite close to the camera. A large crowd are gathered on the banks of a pond. There are then shots of monkeys, one climbing up a tree, some sat in, and eating, the grass. The camera looks at some exotic birds, including white peacocks. There are then shots of rabbits, ducks, deer, llamas, wallabies, kangaroos, emus and tortoises. A group of people on a boat go under a low bridge. Then the camera looks at the giraffes in their pen. One walks up towards the camera and then up to the wire mesh fence. It stares at the people on the other side, which alarms one older woman who jumps back slightly. There is then footage of zebras, camels, elephants (including young), a hippo roaring, lions eating and grooming each other, tigers eating, monkeys grooming each other, and owl sat on a perch and parrots. A parrot stands on a grey haired woman's arm. She wears a collared blue floral dress. There are then shots of a peacock, fish and sea lions. The camera looks at bears in their habitat. Some stand up, possibly scratching their backs on rocks behind them. Their area is sunk, and they look up to the people above, looking back at them. A couple of polar bears pace up and down in their habitat and look out towards the spectators. We then see a pelican and flamingos. Two baby bears sit on chairs arranged back to back and drink from bottles they hold in their paws. An audience stands looking, without a barrier. A baby elephant also walks through the crowd. Intertitle: "The End" (this intertitle features a crocodile moving across it).
