"A wondrous land of mountains, waterfalls and historic castles".
A man, the father of the family, puts suitcases in to the back of a car. Then the family gets in and they drive away.
Intertitle: "After a pleasant run we enjoy a short stay at Chester".
There is a shot of the Chester Rows, a traffic conductor is standing in the middle of the street. This footage contains lovely shots of some of the old buildings and medieval structures found in the city. There is a close up on a clock: "1897 - This clock was presented to the city by Edward Evans-Lloyd citizen and freeman - 1897". The time is shown to be around five to three. There are then more street shots, shops seen including "Jaeger House" and "Raymond's Hairdressing - beauty, culture". On this last one, there is a beam within the front wall, which has carved into it: "God's Providence is Mine Inheritance".
At some docks, there are swans on the water and a few boats passing by. The camera then looks under an old bridge. A shop underneath on the other side has the sign: "Bent's Newsgate Wine Stores".
Intertitle: "One of the first impressive sights in North Wales was the marble church at Bodelwyddan".
The camera looks at the church and its graveyard.
Intertitle: "Llandudno makes an ideal centre with beauty spots in all directions".
There are lights (not lit, it is the daytime) which spell out: "Llandudno welcomes you". The two daughters in the family stand next to a statue which has the inscription: "On this very shore during happy rambles with Alice Liddell, Lewis Carroll was inspired to write that literary treasure "Alice in Wonderland" which has charmed children for generations. Unveiled by the Rt. Hon. D Lloyd George O.M.M.P. Sept. 6th 1933".
The camera looks at seagulls flying, walking, and on the water, and then at model boats floating on the sea.
Intertitle: "The Great Orme with its mountain railway and quaint St. Tudnor's Church".
On two adjacent rail lines, one train goes up the steep hill whilst one passes it going down. The camera looks downwards onto the town. The family sit on the grass by the tracks and watch the trains pass.
The camera looks at a church. There is a stone in the wall into which is inscribed: "The place whereon thou standest is Holy Ground. Do no injury to tree or flower - for they are dedicated to God. And to the memory of the departed. Around thee sleep the dead - thou, too, must die. Consider the end and thou shalt never do amiss". The camera looks at the church's stained glass windows. These show the saints Miriam and Cecilia.
The camera looks at views of the sea, and pigeons and seagulls sat on a cliff. The car drives down a road.
Intertitle: "Nestling under the Great Orme, the happy valley and rock gardens".

Two girls walk towards the camera with a sheep in the middle of them. They hold onto its horns. A dog follows behind. There are shots of the surrounding mountains. The family all eat dinner around a wooden table, and then feed the birds with bread. They then get into their car (registration: "DKU 547"). The building behind that has a sign: "light refreshments, afternoon teas, homemade scones".

They are then shown outside a building which has painted on the side: "The Smallest House in Great Britain". The family go inside; however, the camera does not follow (do doubt due to space restrictions).
Intertitle: "Bodnant Gardens and National Trust gem - given by the Lord Aberconway".
They wander around the grounds and gardens of the country house. The son in the family hugs a giant, old tree. There is a shot of an archway which has carved into it: "'Pin Mill' built at Woodchester as a garden house about 1720. Later used as a factory for many years. Re-erected at Bodnant by Henry Lord Aberconway and his wife Christabel in 1939". The camera looks at more of the grounds and a pond with fish in.

Cars pass over. There are two stones inlaid, one says "Opened 1826" and the other "Thomas Telford - Engineer. Born 1757. Died 1834".
