Red Arrows, using Folland Gnat aircraft, fly in formation overhead at Church Fenton on a Whit Monday. Various other planes also fly overhead, including an Argot and an old one man flying machine. The two boys are sat on the grass playing with their mother. The car park is packed full of cars. Other planes include a Gloster Javelin and a Spitfire. It then moves to another air display at Finningly, near Doncaster. On the ground at the airport is a Beverley transport plane. Ken points out a Beverley flying overhead to his two sons. Also on the ground are a Vulcan and an F101. A pipe band marches past. A helicopter lands and two Chipmunks take off.
Then on to another air show at Netherthorpe airfield where a Wallace autogyro takes off. A pilot flying a bi-plane pretends that he is learning to fly. A helicopter lands and takes off. Back at the Finningly air display, there is a Victor and parachutists. Among the other aircraft is a reproduction of a Montgolfi?re hot air balloon. On the ground lots of visitors are looking around the different aircraft. A girl comes down on a chair ride and the film comes to an end.
