This is a film from the Taylor family collection. It shows the family on holiday in the Algarve, where they go fishing, and at an air display in England.
A family are sitting on a balcony on a new holiday development overlooking a beach, relaxing with drinks. They are joined by a couple with a small girl. They are then out on a rocky coast. A woman stands looking out to sea in a cheque outfit. Boats are moored up near the coast. The woman carries her daughter on her shoulders. They get into their car and go down to the beach, where they go for a walk along the coast visiting sites. They take a drive along the coast, arriving at 'Cabo de S. Vicente' (Cape of St Vincent), looking out to the sea, the cliffs and the houses. They are filmed again on their balcony.
A man goes for a walk with his daughter through a town and the countryside. The family visit more sites, including an odd looking windmill where an elderly woman is working. They take a look inside at the large grinding stone. The men go off fishing in a boat. They then visit an old village in the hills with a castle and ancient ruins. A couple stop their car at the side of the road and feed their baby.
Back at home Mrs Taylor and another woman walk around the garden of the house, joined by an elderly man. There is a hailstorm. A family with two children are then in a field with archery targets, where they set up a picnic. There is a display of birds of prey, and then an exhibition of light aircraft, with a tent for 'Northern Executive Aviatiob Ltd.'. A commercial jet flies overhead and lands at a nearby airport. A glider is packed away into its box ready for being towed away. Another glider is towed up into the air. A jet does some acrobatic flying overhead, followed by other aircraft displays by new and old aircraft, including a Stampe SV.4 (G-AXYW), part of the Rothman's Aerobatic Team. The family, with one of them wearing hot pants, have a look around the planes.
Mr Taylor and another man and woman play with a dog in a back garden of a large house. They are joined by another couple. The film finishes with a young woman in a white pullover sat in a field.
