This film is from the Bradford College Collection and consists of footage taken at an entertainment show held in a hall. There are a variety of acts taking part in the show including a band, singers, clowns and gymnists. The film opens with a band lined up on stage and a gymnast balancing himself on his arms on two poles; the band members watch him. He finishes up his act by hopping down onto two pairs of poles, each lower than the others and then turning over backwards and landing on the stage. From the same position on the floor beside the stage, shots are taken of the next act. Two people dressed as clowns play brass instruments as a third person, also dressed as a clown, stands on a chair and throws a bucket of flower petals over them. The band that had been standing at the back of the stage now starts to play; two women stand at a microphone and sing. In the next few shots there are lots of people up on the stage. Some of the people dressed as clowns sit on tiny carts and drive around the stage, people stand in the background and some children put masks on their heads. A man with a film camera is filming the goings on and smiles at the camera. A troupe of male and female gymnasts carry out a variety of back flips, splits and cartwheels across the stage in front of the band. The final shots are of some men singing and performing on stage.
