Part of the Bradford College Collection, this film documents some of the building works which took place at the college.
The film begins with a shot of a drill digging a hole in the construction site; then there is a shot from further away watching as the drill twists and shakes all of the rubble off before it digs into the earth again. The camera moves to the right and the entire construction site can be seen. It is surrounded by a wire fence and there are a few huts and pieces of rubbish strewn around.
A lorry is attached to a trailer by three wires; on the trailer is a large piece of machinery with `cementation' written on the side. There are several shots, taken from a height and looking down onto the drill and the flattened construction site. The camera lingers on the construction site and then moves to show the city of Bradford in the background.
