This film is part of the Bradford College Collection and contains some footage of the construction of an extension to the campus. The film opens with a few brief and shaky shots of some builders on a construction site. A few moments later the film re-starts with a shot taken from the construction site down beside one of the vehicles. Chains hang down from a crane and attached to the hook on the chains are what appear to be concrete tiles. Two men stand below the chains and keep an eye on the tiles as the crane lifts them up in the air. Following this is a brief shot of the man in the cab of the crane. The next section has been sped up. Two men with hard hats examine what looks to be a boiler of some sort which has been built into the ground; they walk around it and take notes. Then there are a few shots of some steel beams on the site as well as shots of a roller machine and sections of the site covered by tarpaulins. The two men with hard hats examine and take notes from other parts of the site; the site is very muddy with some areas which have been flattened for access purposes. The existing college buildings are visible in the background.
