On a building site a man stands in the doorway of a dumper truck and watches as a digger tips rubble into the back of it. The digger scrapes mounds of earth from the site and empties it into the truck. There are shots of the big wheels on the truck and then of the claw from the digger...

The film opens with shots of a cobbled street and traffic; it is raining heavily and people can be seen running across a road. On a building site a man stands in the doorway of a dumper truck and watches as a digger tips rubble into the back of it. The digger scrapes mounds of earth from the site and empties it into the truck. There are shots of the big wheels on the truck and then of the claw from the digger truck and the man in the cabin controlling it. The truck gets stuck in the mud on the site; the digger lifts the claw and gives the truck a push so that it can drive off. There is a shot from outside of a port-a-cabin looking in the open door. A man stands over the toilet and the camera films him! The next shots are of a man hammering nails into the door of a shed on the construction site. Three men walk across the construction site with a measuring tape; they measure the ground every few feet. The final shot is of the port-a-cabin again but this time it is empty.
