Two young boys sit on rugs playing with blocks of wood; they tower them up and then knock them down. They occasionally look at the camera. Following this are shots of three young boys and one young girl at a small table; they wear aprons and pours containers of water and coloured liquid into various container. They also drop effervescent tablets into the water and play around with water levels.
Two young girls and a boy sit at tables and sew dolls' clothes with big needles and wool. A woman beside them shows them how to do it and helps them. In the next shots two of the young boys fill glasses from a sink; one of the boys tries to sit on a stool and falls on the ground.
The final scene is filmed in a room with a fully-dressed dinner table. A woman and a man sit at the table with the six young boys and girls. The children talk and say grace before they are helped with their napkins. The woman serves food onto plates and passes them to the children; one of the girls eats with her knife and fork in the wrong hands. There are shots of the children eating with their mouths opens, dropping food and using the wrong cutlery. One of the boys rolls a glass on his face and drops it on the floor; then there is a shot of the mess of crumbs on the floor. Finally dessert is dished out to all of the children.
