This film is part of a three film collection focusing on racing driver Trevor Twaites, documenting races he participated in. All of the films within this collection were commissioned on behalf of the British Racing & Sports Car Club (Northern centre).
In terms of visual composition, the camera throughout the collection is positioned at eye level with the race track, thus the filmmaker is able to replicate the type shots a professional television company might produce, which is thanks to unrestricted access to the racetrack and behind the scenes areas.
The opening shot of the film shows Trevor Twaites sitting in the driver's seat of his orange Chevron B.16 race car, which is situated in the middle of a car park with other racing teams. Members of his crew stand around the car, talking. The filmmaker then cuts to a group of racing cars speeding down the long straight of the race course. Next, there are various shots of race cars (including Trevor's B.16) careering round various corners, including a tight chicane. The following shot shows a group of men standing around a damaged car that has fallen off the track.
Trevor's Chevron pulls into the pit lane, and then a man opens the door to converse with him. Another driver waits while mechanics work on his blue racing car. Trevor's Chevron B.16 hurtles across the race start line, as a man holds a board up. The filmmaker cuts to the pit lane, where a mechanic is checking the tire pressure on the Chevron. This is followed by a shot of a racing cars bonnet, which has a decal reading 'Mum for men' written across it. Another car has 'private - Stockholm Sweden' stencilled on it. A race begins consisting of small scale Formula 1 style cars. Shots of advertisements boards of that period are littered around the race track, and another shot shows people watching the race from behind a fence.
A driver stands on a raised platform surrounded by race officials, and women dressed in typical 70s pin up attire. Kissing the man on the cheek, the woman then hands the driver a cup, from which he proceeds to drink. The winning driver poses with two glamorous women. The winning driver and women are driven round the race course for a victory lap in an open top car and golf buggy, which has an advertisement for 'Rothmans of Pall Mall'. (The winner is Lotus driver Dave Walker and second is driver James Hunt.) The final sequence has several shots consisting of Trevor's Chevron driving round the track, and a few shots of the crowd.

A film of Yorkshire racing car driver Trevor Twaites made by Trevor’s friend, fellow racer and filmmaker George Duncan of Leeds at the Rufforth circuit, just west of York. Trevor is driving a newly built Chevrolet Lola T330 in its first competitive year, before going on to many successes. Trevor might be racing in the Formula Libre race, while other races in the film feature converted road cars, possibly an RAC York branch Battle of Britain race. This film is part of a collection of motor racing films focusing on Twaites. They were made by Duncan for the British Racing & Sports Car Club. They also feature Elvington and Croft circuits. Trevor Twaites raced in the 1960s and 70s giving up racing in 1975 to take over his father’s Woodkirk Garage on Dewsbury Road, Morley. Like other circuits Rufforth was on the site of a former airfield built during the war, opening in 1959 and closing in 1978. Twaites won the RAC Sports Car Championship in 1970 and entered four races in the Rothmans 5000 in 1973, gaining no points. A restored T330 HU6, which was shared with Brendan McInerny, raced as recently as August 2015. Twaites died in 2010 at the relatively early age of 66.
