This film contains footage of the Studwell family. It includes a mother and young child out and about in parks and gardens, a trip to London and a trip to the zoo. A woman and child walk hand-in-hand down a path towards the camera. In the next shot they are standing and posing beside a car and then they get in. Then there is a shot of a man standing at the back of the car smiling while the woman looks for something in the front of the car. There is a road sign which reads `Newark/Retford'. An older and a younger woman stand outside in a garden; they pour a drink then it cuts to a man in a suit walking towards the camera. A young woman comes out of a house and across a wooden bridge into a garden. Then there is a brief shot of a man in a tie and shirt mowing the lawn. Next shots are quite overexposed shots of some buildings, a river, what appears to be number 10 Downing Street and the Buckingham Castle guards. There is a shot of the Thames with row boats on it and then a shot of a building with `Fulford House' over the door. A woman is in the garden cutting flowers, she looks at the camera. On a trip to the zoo there are shots of a wide variety of animals including; monkeys, bears, an elephant, tigers, bison, polar bears, giraffes, penguins beside their pool, deer and a seal jumping off a rock into the pool in front of spectators. Some children are having a ride on an elephant. Three women pose by the car for the camera and then there is a brief shot of the woman and the toddler outside. She carries the child down some stone steps and over a small stream and after this there are shots of the mother and another woman sitting having a picnic while they watch the toddler push a toy horse on wheels along the grass. A man has a go at doing this too. Then the mother stands with her back to the camera as the toddler crawls through her legs. In the next scene, the toddler is in the toy chest with a teddy beside it. The child gets out of the chest and then runs towards the camera with a teddy bear. The final shot in this scene is of all the teddy bears piled into a group on the grass. There are shots of cliffs taken from a boat on the sea and some of the people on the boat come into shot. There is a ship visible on the horizon and a lighthouse on the cliff. A woman and two children stand among some birds; they feed some white pigeons. The next few shots are of a large house and very big grounds. Some adults and two children walk through the garden and then more people join them and they pose for pictures. Following this scene there are shots of the sea and cliffs and a boat being launched into the sea and then shots of the sea taken from the top of the cliffs. There is a shot of a small row boat sailing up a river past trees and what appears to be a pagoda or temple visible high up above the trees. There is a brief shot of a steam train coming along a track past the camera. Two children hold hands and paddle in the sea. Three women sit on the beach on a blanket and look at the camera. A man and woman in bathing costumes stand in the sea looking at the camera; then they run out of the sea towards the camera. Following this is a shot of a man in the sea with two children. Two women in hats and long coats come out of a house followed by some more well-dressed men and women. In the next shot several couples with flowers in their lapels come out of a church smiling. They all line up on a porch and smile for the camera. Some shots of a large house and then the mother walk across a field towards the camera with the toddler. There are sheep and lambs in the field. The toddler cycles on a tricycle down a path beside a woman followed by shots of a man and woman in dress coats who stand on the road and pose for the camera. An older woman walks along a field with the toddler and they kneel down in the meadow with a bunch of flowers. A woman is in a garden with the toddler and a dog. This is followed by two women, a man and two children in the garden posing for the camera. Two of the women have toy drums and are joking around with them. The toddler sits beside a sandpit eating something from a dish with a spoon. A man and woman are with a child who is on a swing and in the next shot the man is on the swing. There are some more shots of the women and man taken with the toddler and then there are shots of a duck and duckling in a pond. The next few shots are a bit overexposed. The toddler is in the garden licking a wooden spoon and then there is a shot of a woman putting a gas mask on the child. A young boy sits on the grass with a tiny rabbit beside him and then he is joined by a man, the toddler and a dog. Next is some underexposed footage of an old, run-down house, a horse and car on the street and then a tractor in a field. Some of the men and women are on loungers in the garden then there are more shots of the adults and children posing for the camera. In the final scene there are some street shots and then an older and younger woman come out of `The Mayfair' with some children followed by other family members.
