This film contains footage of a summer holiday, possibly from 1970. It is thought that it may be John Grant's holidays and some of the men depicted are involved in the Hunslet rugby team and appear in other films. There are shots of the men wandering around an old city and relaxing on the beach with beers. The club was established in 1940 by Dr. J. Wyllie as a way of offering young people the chance to improve their skills in areas such as sports, crafts, karate, and IT.
The film begins with panoramic views from the sea, of a bay, coastal buildings and large cargo ships and cranes in a harbour. A huge, white castle and walled building can also be seen.
A man with a moustache is on a boat. He smiles at the camera.
A crowd of people line a wall overlooking a bay; small boats are sailing in to the bay. There are shots of the city streets and the three men in the film walk towards the camera. Two buses drive along a road.
A plane is on a runway, and then some shots of the ground below taken from up in the plane.
The men are on a beach, and one of them fetches some drinks. Then there are views of the sea from a coast road and one of the men can be seen further down the road looking out over the wall into the water. The three men walk through a car park beside the sea, and one of the men ends up swimming in the sea.
The same men are sitting on a balcony; the camera zooms in on a can of Heineken being poured into a glass and consumed by one of the men. Another of the men has `West Yorkshire Group' on his tee-shirt, he is also drinking Heineken.
The film closes as the three men walk along a pier towards a group of people with scuba gear and then climb some rocks.
