Title - Around And About Jersey
From their hotel, members of the cine club go down to the nearest town, St Helier. Here they wander around the shops and market. They then take the coach to Sunset Nurseries at St Ouen's Bay. Then on to Mont Orgueil Castle. Back at the hotel people are using the swimming pool and sunbathing. At St Brelades Bay holidaymakers are lying on the beach. There is a semi-tropical garden, children on trampolines and 'Tams' restaurant. On to the park with the plaque dedicated to Winston Churchill. The film moves to St Aubins Bay filled with boats, some being cleaned. A car driver looking at a pub that featured in an episode of Bergerac has run into another car. After watching a procession they visit the German underground hospital. Then onto a miniature historic village, the home of Strawberry Farm. Then on to Jersey Wildlife Preservation Trust, showing the parrots, tortoises, kangaroos, leopards, gorillas and other animals. They visit the Gaherty Reptile Breeding Centre and then Jersey Pottery showing the moulds, fettling and glazing, and where they have tea in the cafe. Back at the hotel they board the coach, just in time to catch the ferry home.
