Title – British Board Film Censors – This is to Certify that “Holiday Time” has been Passed for… Universal Exhibition
The film opens with a shot of horses by field that drink from river in front of large Manor House. There are boats moored along the river, and one of the boats is making its way through a lock. A woman drives a speedboat, passing the Manor House, and goes towards the locks. The majority of footage is taken from the boat ride as they make their way down the river. The sailors pass houses and scenic views along the riverbanks. There is also footage of the interior of the boat including some of the controls. Some of the buildings they pass are covered in ivy.
Sign - Abingdon Boat Centre
The couple briefly dock, and the woman looks around the market stalls in town. There is a shot of a bridge over the river followed by shots of one of the boats attempting to turn around.
Sign – Eton
The couple stop to look at the castle and streets at Eton. There is a changing of the guards, all of whom are dressed in bear skin hats. There are more shots of the castle, and then once back on the river, the other boats that are also sailing that day. They pass W. Bates & Son.
Title – The End.
