A newspaper headline for the Sunday Express reads, "It's 'Thumbs Up' From The Heart Swop Man." This is followed by footage of a stream in countryside. Later, the family arrive in their car and walk through the countryside. They carry nets with them.

This part of the film takes place at an amusement park. There is a baby in push chair, girl on swing, and children play on a roundabout, seesaw, and slide. Next, people are walking around pleasure beach on a sunny day, and the children watch the rollercoaster as it makes its way around the track.
Next, the family walks into the caravan. They then walk along a long jetty into boat. The family take the boat out for a ride, and there is footage taken along the journey. Once back on land, the family stops to have a picnic in a clearing in the woods, and the children play in the river, using steppingstones to cross.
On a boat ride down the Thames, the boat passes the Houses of Parliament large suspension bridge. They then tour a large ship which is docked in a harbour.
The final part of the journey is a trip to Chatsworth House. There is footage of the estate including the fountain in the garden, the scenic landscape, and the water cascade. The film closes with shots of the graveyard at which time a gravestone can be seen which reads, "In Loving Memory of Kathleen 1920-1948 Widow."
