The film opens with two women sitting on a wall. Next, boats are sailing on the lake, and there are also swans that swim there. The family go on a boat, and footage is taken of this journey as the boat makes its way along the river and past a boathouse. The family walk through gardens and to a castle where they examine some of its architecture. A train pulls into the station, "Hythe," and the film closes with more footage of the train at the station.
