Description Part of the Freeman collection, this short film which shows some of the preparations that take place to celebrate the Christmas holiday.
The film opens with a shot of Scarborough beach at sunset. This is followed by footage of a man in the back garden at a house on Westridge Road. He is potting a Christmas tree. After it is secured, he and his wife move the tree into the house. Inside, the tree has been decorated. There is a young boy who examines some of the decorations before he makes balloon animals. The film ends with scenes of a snow-covered path.
