This film shows the family enjoying various activities in their garden and surrounding village. The family spend time in the garden together and ride their horses in the field behind their house. The children spend time by the river and play tennis. They also help their mother to pick fruit and berries and take a day trip to building ruins.
There are colourful flowerbeds outside house where the mother and father have laid out deck chairs. A boy strokes a horse in the field, and the girl rides her horse. A boy wearing shorts rides a bicycle along the field and puts it down next to a shed. The boy sits in the saddle on the horse in the field. The boy wearing shorts strokes the girl's horse before she leads it around the field. The boy on the horse rides him across the field and rides over the hurdle. The brother and sister practice jumping their horses in the field several times (wrong speed). The girl and boy walk their horses through the fields and into the stable yard. The girl rides a horse with the two boys on the back. The horse grazes in the field.
The two brothers use their nets to fish things out of the river. The boys put water from the river into two jam jars. One of the boys walks along the riverbank, down to the water's edge, and places a model boat on the water. The boys stand in the river pushing the boat along and fishing with their nets.
The boys play tennis in the garden on the grass tennis court. The house is surrounded by a garden filled with flowers. At the end of the garden is a large field that has chickens and geese. In the garden the two boys and their mother pick berries and fruit from the bushes and trees. The girl plays with two dogs in the garden.
Cars are parked outside a hotel in the village (The Swan Hotel), which is situated next to the church. The woman walks from the cars past the church where she stands looking at building ruins.
The garden is filled with a variety of different flowers.
A dog lies in the garden in front of the house and next to a large cluster of trees. A boy sweeps the long drive way. Fields, hills and woodland surround the house. The mother stands in front of the house with two dogs. The film closes as the two boys and the mother chase the two dogs around the garden.
