Description This is a short film of potholers exploring a cave in the Pennines.
The film begins with a Pennine bus arriving in the moors. The bus is carrying a group of potholers. The men, wearing bump hats and lamps, stand chatting and unload rope ladders from the bus. The potholers are sitting on ground before they descend a rope ladder down a narrow deep gorge. Once at the bottom, the film shows in detail the rock formations, with stalagmites and stalactites. They then climb back out of the hole and make their way back to the bus in their dirty gear.
