An aerial of Bradford and Centenary Square in winter with snow the ground and covering the roofs. 16-year-old Philip stands posing for the camera explaining he has been in the city for a year changing to Creative Producer May McQuade walking across Centenary Square explaining how she has been in the city for four-and-a-half years and about the cities hidden architectural history. Over aerials of said sites a man talks about the gay men who have been instrumental in creating the modern Bradford such as David Hockney and Jonathan Silver who developer Salts Mill. Matt Henderson from Great Horton walks with his son Kian through a snowy park talking about the contributions of the LGBTQ+ community in Bradford. As Sophie Powell from Heaton goes for walk, she talks about an encounter with a six-year-old child who wanted to know if she was a boy or a girl and was it more important than being a nice person. Bradford Councillor Richard Dunbar talks about education and sharing stories while Sophie explains that everyone has an LGBTQ story to tell. Over a montage around their home and with them sitting on a sofa holding hands, an unseen couple hold hands and talk about how they met and the importance of The Brick Box in Bradford as an important queer space. A montage of queer images and iconography changes to drag artist punk singer Felicia performing on stage with a band and her talking in a recording studio about her music coming from a place of love. As barber Radya Hussain walks her puppy through Bradford at night, another South Asian woman talks in voiceover about how she came to understand her own queerness. Radya also explains that she is no longer afraid to talk about her sexuality, even with her family. As Matt and Kian Henderson continue their walk a male voice talks about how thing affect his community and how enlightened it is to be part of the conversation. The face of a South Asian man changes to Sophie Powell again who talks about how interesting it is that people’s experiences differ and are the same. The entrance to Ivesgate in the city centre and May McQuade talking about people being themselves in the city and taking the time to chat and support each other. Sixteen-year-old Philip again also talks about people who support him to be free. As Bernadette Gallaher from Haworth stands in the town centre she states how she like that Bradford is always trying. A woman wearing Pride facemask and another woman’s voice talking in voiceover about Pride being an opportunity to celebrate and have fun. A montage of some of the people featured in the film talking about wanting to attend Pride including Radya Hussain who hopes to meet a pretty girl. As Felicia performs on stage she talks in voiceover about how this LGBTQ+ History Month is important which is followed by a montage of people’s faces and May McQuade talking about how amazing the LGBTQ+ community in Bradford is and how it is important part of her identity. A snowman in a park and an aerial of a church changes to Richard Dunbar who explains that visibility as an openly gay councillor is the first step towards achieving revolution. In the studio Felicia explains that she will always have hope. In Bradford city centre a young South Asian man points out a building in the near distance and believes the colours surrounding it represents Pride, he raises his arms in victory as does May McQuade.
