The thirty-second of thirty-seven short films produced by documentary filmmaker Tom Harmer as part of the 52Humans project. Filmed during the COVID-19 pandemic and released weekly for a year, in this film the imagination of a girl called Josie who is excited about showing some of her wild inventions while talking about her creative process. Title: Imagine 32/52 Josie, a young girl, comes to sit at a table and explains why she loves inventing things. Showing hand-drawn illustrations in her journal, she talks about her latest invention a screwdriver powered go-kart followed after which she holds up a stuffed toy leopard she made and her favourite invention a mechanic car. As she writes notes in her journal, she talks about how her ideas come to her explaining that creating things is all about imagining an idea and solving a problem. She explains that she is currently working on a flying broomstick she continues to draw pictures and make notes in her journal. She looks up and smile at the camera before leaves the table. Title: “Creating things starts with imagination, then you keep solving stuff.” Josie End title: www. 52Humans.com
