Title: Wild Waters
25/52
As Kerry climbs into and begins to swim across a small lake she joins a group of other wild swimmers. As she does so she talks in voiceover about always feeling confident in water and about the joy and release she feels to be in it.
A montage of photographs of Kerry as a child with her talking in voiceover about how water has always been there in her life. As she swims across the lake she talks about how as a wild swimmer every place where she goes is different with different characteristics. Light reflecting of the water changes to another montage of photographs featuring Kerry wild swimming at locations around the world.
As she continues to swim Kerry talks about how for her wild swimming is about getting away from her anxieties and worries in life. As she treads water with a smile, she talks about how she sees wind swimming like a holistic therapy session.
Now out of the water and clothed she stands at the edge of the lake looking out on the water with a contented smile.
Title: “It’s important to have something in life that you love, that makes you feel free to be yourself.” Kerry
