Title: A Special Place
24/52
A montage of Marloes Sands and Jill watching children playing in the sea. Another montage featuring both photographs of Jill’s family holidays to Marloes and contemporary views of the beach and its surroundings with Jill explaining in voiceover how this place has been a refuge and a place of rest for her and her family for thirty-six years.
As she stands in the surf watching a group of children play in the sea or body-surf Jill talks about how a place like Marloes Sands becomes a special place. She comes to sit with a large family group on nearby rocks explaining that when you find something really special you want to hang onto it, but don’t want to hide it away and want to share it. Some of the group stop and pose for the camera with a smile.
A montage of photographs featuring her late husband Nick with Jill talking about what will be the legacy of Marloes Sands. A final view of the beach at sunset.
Title: “Places like this are a gift of peace and rest, that will outlive us all.” Jill
