As the procession continues to make its way through the park and crowds of families watching artists and performers entertain them a voice explaining that it is all about bringing people and creative things together.
In a workshop a number of women working on various lanterns talk about how they feel being involved. As a woman speaks in voiceover about the importance of having a lot of people involved, a man speaks with some of the puppeteers in the park.
Back in the workshop as a local artist works on her lantern changes to a group of young children painting or decorating theirs with the artist and another woman in the group talking about working with four local schools.
During the day a group of volunteers wearing overalls working to construct pipes to a frame beside a scaffolding tower. Returning to the night families walking through the park and a montage of both moving and still images featuring some of the lanterns and puppets on display including a teapot and teacups, a bee and a globe with the words ‘Refugees Welcome Here’ written across the top. The crowd cheers and a percussion band perform, and the procession makes its way around a pond.
As a woman’s voice explains how this is bringing people together for a really nice moment to enjoy something creative, the crowds gather around the scaffolding tower seen previous where a display featuring. As the crowds look in enthralled, another woman explains why she always comes back.
