The first episode in a second series of this Yorkshire Television programme in which presenter Marylyn Webb speaks with important and influential women who are associated with Yorkshire. In this edition she speaks with British Olympic gold medallist javelin thrower Tessa Sanderson. Title: One Woman In the Yorkshire Television studio presenter Marylyn Webb gives an introduction on her guest Tessa Sanderson. Using a selection of photographs on the table in front of them Tessa talks about her Olympic win in Los Angelese and her thoughts on what the future holds for her. A clip of one of her throws is shown followed by Tessa showing Marylyn the gold medal she won. She talks about how she was able to reach the top in athletics and how she made it her career at such a young age. She goes on to talk about her early life in Jamacia and moving to Britain aged 8-and-a-half, how she became part of the Great Britan athletics team and her experience of prejudice both in the UK as well as abroad. The interview ends with Tessa talking about having a social life outside athletics and how men react to her as well as her future ambitions in athletics.
