A short stop-motion animation produced by students on an animation course run by Dave Brunskill and Lorna Moone for Village Arts. The animation tell a story about a rabbit and a sheep knitting together. Title: Woolpack Productions A country scene featuring a rabbit asleep underground in its warren, a sheep asleep in a field and a bird sleeping in a nest in a tree. A strand of wool is pulled from a piece of fabric revealing the film’s title. Title: Pure Wool The sun rises and its rays touch the bird awakening it causing it to fly about chirping which wakes the sheep. In his warren the rabbit awakens and comes out of his hole and joins the sheep who has begun to knit. As the two continue to knit, in the tree the bird drops a garment label that reads ‘Knitted by hand. One size only’ which flitters to the ground where the sheep and rabbit see it. The sheep begins to knit faster quickly producing a blue jumper much to the surprise of the rabbit. In the nest three chicks watch as the sheep puts on the jumper with the film ending on the sheep using his knitting needles to point at the label now stitched to the front of his jumper.
