A participatory film of a community arts event taking place inside Saltburn Valley Country Park by Village Arts with children taking part in a circus school. Inside the woods of Saltburn Valley Country Park families stand around chatting while other cross a footbridge over the Skelton Beck. On one side of the beck a stall and a banner and on the other another group of people standing chatting beside a sign that reads ‘The Famous Family.’ A woman using a microphone to address the crowd changes to a path leading through Saltburn Vally along which more people chatting and two stall one selling craft items. Further along the bath a display of art featuring life-sized figures and home-made percussion instruments which are being used by some of the passing children. Returning to the location at the start of the film a woman does face painting for a crowd of small children gathered around her while nearby children juggle possibly as part of a circus skills class being run by members of ‘The Famous Family.’ A woman followed by several children have a go at bobbing for apples. In the beck beside the bridge children playing in it while back at the circus school children are shown how to spin plates. A group of children in fancy dress stand a line, one is dressed as a scarecrow, another a pirate while a small girl is dressed as a witch with pointed hat and green face paint, in the background a man juggling.
