Description Part of the Hattersley Collection, this is a short film which was taken during competition at a dry ski slope in Britain, 1969. It is filmed on a dull day and therefore underexposed.
The film opens showing two young men on a ski lift. Both wear numbers on their shirts. As each cart reaches the top, the competitors jump off. Then, one by one, the skiers go down the course making their way through the poles. This allows them to show their skill and control. More shots show people making their way up again in the lift. Following this, the competitors ski down the course where they reach the finish line.
