Fred welcomes viewers to the venue the Ladbroke Dragonara Hotel in Leeds. The match covered in the programme is the second quarter final of the professional’s tournament, the British Darts Organisation World Premiership. Leighton Rees from Wales will play Rab Smith from Scotland. The rules are the best of three sets each set is the best of three legs. Top prize money is £1500 pounds and if a player makes the maximum score which is 180 for the three darts, he will win a further £180.00.
The commentator is Dave Lanning and Leighton Rees throws first dart in the well-known game of 501. Rab Smith follows on with his darts. Welsh darts professional Alan Evans joins Dave Lanning in the commentary box. Alan thinks Leighton will win the match although he acknowledges that Rab is capable of beating anyone. Leighton Rees wins the first match.
Rab Smith starts the second match and wins it. Leighton Rees starts the third but Rab Smith goes on to win it.
The programme goes back to Fred Dinenage in the studio, to announce the break for advertisements.

Fred Dineage introduces the rest of second quarter final match. Rab Smith starts but Leighton Rees wins the next two games and wins the first leg. Rab Smith starts the second leg. Alan Evans in the commentary box explains how he and Leighton Rees have always shared prize winnings. Leighton Rees wins the match and goes into the semi-finals.
Fred Dineage closes the programme and outlines the next edition, when the semi-finals of the pro-celebrity match take place with Nicky Virashkul and Charlie Williams and Cliff Lazarenko and Welsh rugby player Phil Bennett.
The end credits start over clips from the latest game.
