The programme opens with presenter Fred Dineage at the location of the tournament the Ladbroke Dragonara Hotel in Leeds. Fred outlines the competition so far. He also announces that they will be showing the competition for the professional darts players only and continuing with the pro-celebrity competition which featured in the first programme. In the pro-celebrity competition this week Leighton Rees professional darts player will team up with English footballer Trevor Cherry who will be against dart player Cliff Lazarenko and Welsh rugby union star Phil Bennett.
The surnames of the players appear on a green background. Fred Dineage stands in the middle of the two teams as he introduces the players. Both teams receive enthusiastic applause. As dart player Leighton Rees speaks a film clip shows Phil Bennett playing in a rugby match. Leighton respects him as a rugby player but hopes to beat him on the dartboard. Trevor Cherry’s brief interview is complemented by film of him playing in a football match. Cliff Lazarenko the dart professional is questioned by Fred about family links in Welsh rugby.
Fred gets the match going by announcing the names of the referee Tony Green and commentator Dave Lanning. The audience applauds.
The game is 501 and Cliff Lazarenko is the first to throw his darts, followed by Leighton Rees, then Phil Bennett, and Trevor Cherry. Cliff Lazarenko throws the winning dart.
Back in the studio Fred Dineage announces a commercial break with the rest of the pro-celebrity match afterwards and the start of the professional match

The pro-celebrity match continues, with the commentator David Lanning saying the Cliff Lazarenko and Phil Bennett partnership are two nil in the game. Cliff Lazarenko is now throwing his darts in this next game and scores a maximum 180. Cliff Lazarenko throws the winning dart to win the match, he and Phil Bennett will go to the semi-finals.
The programme goes back to Fred Dineage in the studio, who announces that Cliff Lazarenko has been drawn in the professional singles competition against John Lowe, the world number one. The rules for this game which is the best of three sets each set consisting of the best of three three legs. Fred says that Cliff has won the first set, two legs to nil and it is his turn to start the second set and he is playing John Lowe. Eric Bristow joins David Lanning to commentator. Cliff Lazarenko wins the first leg in this second set. John Lowe wins the second leg. Cliff Lazarenko wins the match.
Fred Dineage speaks to the two players and congratulates Cliff. John says he was nervous in the first game.
In the studio Fred sums up the professional tournament and talks about the next programme which includes Fraser Hines an actor from the TV series ‘Emmerdale Farm’, and Fred Trueman the famous Yorkshire cricketer.
The end credits run against some views of the games just played.
