A video of a fashion show featuring models wearing the work of first and second-year diploma students from Granville College in Sheffield. The fashion show is intercut with fashions featured in The Face magazine 1980 to 1986 when the show took place. Title: The Face Granville College Fashion The Face Fashion 1986 Over Pete Townsend’s song ‘Face to Face’ a montage of various front pages and fashion articles from editions of The Face magazine. A model wearing a dress designed by one of the college students comes out and walks along a catwalk, parading past a seated audience around her. More pages and designs seen in The Face magazine are followed by a series of both male and female models of different ethnicities come out onto the catwalk to showcase various outfits. With the show coming to an end, the models come back out onto the catwalk alongside some of the tutors at the college with the crowd applauding. Other who are involved in the shows production are introduced before coming out onto the stage to be applauded by the crowd. The film ends on another montage of images taken from The Face magazine.
