Produced by husband-and-wife filmmakers Harry and Rhonda Wilson the Royal Air Force (RAF) Finningley Air Show taking place at RAF Finningley in South Yorkshire on the 17th September 1966. Various military and civilian aircraft feature both on the ground and in the air. Several parachutists feature alongside display of many of the aircraft featured including that of the Royal Air Force Aerobatic Team or Red Arrows.

Two jet aircraft taxi along a runway changing to others flying in the sky overhead. Two parachutists trail smoke as they descend from the sky. A four engine propeller airplane flies past changes to a hot air balloon flying in the distance.
A RAF Vulcan bomber taxi’s along the runway and is intercut with a display of synchronised flying by four jet aircraft. Two Vulcan bombers taking off is followed by other airplane performing displays in the sky. One of the Vulcan bomber’s flies’ low overhead.
A poodle in a garden quickly returns to Finningley and a synchronised display of nine aircraft in the sky. More display of various aircraft flying, some leaving trails of smoke. On the ground beside parked cars a woman uses a pair of binoculars to watch the displays, standing beside her two men also looking up into the sky.
A parachutist with a Union Jack chute comes into land passing over the camera changes to a large jet bomber plane flying past overhead being escorted by two fighter jets. A man resting against a car looks at notes on a pad while in the sky overhead more displays of various aircraft both civilian and military.
Another parachutist descends to the ground changing to a commercial airplane taxiing along the runway and taking off into the sky. Back on the ground a second passenger plane pushes back from its parking spot before taking off into the air.

Crowds of visitors looking over displayed of various aircraft parked around Finningley while in the sky the wiggly lines of aircraft trails. A line of parked jet aircraft belonging to the Royal Air Force Aerobatic Team or Red Arrows. One of them taxi’s towards the runway followed by either a Spitfire of Hurricane World War Two fighter plane. In the sky the Red Arrows perform a display featuring coloured smoke. A woman sitting on the ground watching the display changes to one of the Red Arrows aircraft coming into park beside the other jets following the display.
Various aircraft perform or display in the air while on the ground others are parked up top be looked over by visitors including a Vulcan bomber. A Lancaster bomber taxi’s towards a runway and the film ends on another RAF jet aircrafts takes off into the sky.
