A man walks over to a greenhouse in the front garden of the farmhouse. Two men come out making their way towards the back of the house, one of them is pushing a wheelbarrow.
Decorative flowerbeds in a garden or park with an iron gate surround it and a large wooden sign facing away from the camera. A duck sitting atop a wooden gate changes to two men mixing concrete in a yard outside a joiners show and working to lay a new driveway. The duck continues to sit atop the gate.
In a field a tractor drives up and down pulling a rake that turns hay. On the farm cattle are tested for Bovine Tuberculosis, each animal comes out of a barn into a cattle crush and are looked over by a vet before being released.
A combine-harvester drives away from the farm followed by a tractor and trailer. General views of the farmhouse with colourful flowerbeds in the garden and wild ducks resting there. In a nearby field stacks of hay or straw. In another field a terrier dog hunts for rats digging out their nests.
General views of several large fields shot during the day and possibly at dusk with various crops growing in them from cereal to turnips. In another fields a series of stooks and large bales of hay set up in a line. In another field a tractor pulls a plough up and down turning the earth. At the back of the plough another devise which maybe sowing fresh seed.
A combine-harvester is driven past into a field next to the farm where it begins work harvesting a grain crop. A tractor pulling a wagon of sheaf or stooks drives past into the farmyard followed by another tractor pulling a wagon full of what appear to be sacks. A third tractor also drives past pulling a wagon of cut hay or straw bales. Back in the field the combine-harvester continues it work.
A herd of sheep are released into another field next to the farm, two sheepdogs appear to run around trying to herd them. A tractor drives out of the farm pulling a wagon on which sits a seed-drilling machine, a second tractor follows behind. In a field the seed-drill is unloaded and attached to the second tractor.
In another field a tractor with a rotary rake drives up and down turning over a crop of potatoes which are then collected by hand by farmworkers. A tractor pulling a wagon full of potatoes drives back to the farm changes to field of sheep and lambs eating turnips. A shepherd and his dog lead’s a herd of sheep through the farmyard and the film ends on another field with the sheep grazing there.
