Title: The Edge of the Pond
In a garden pond tadpoles swimming about changes to a side view of a tank where more tadpoles are swimming back and forth in the shallow sandy water. A goldfish swims around in the water and a slug slithers along the edge of pond. A centipede also wonders around on the edge of the pond while the slug continues its journey through the grass.
Back in the pond the tadpoles are developing with the gills being absorbed into lungs, legs also beginning to push out from the abdomen. A tadpole takes gulps of air from near the surface of the pond.
The tadpole nearing completion of its transformation into a frog rests on the sand with both front and hind legs, the tail still remains. The frog swims through the water, its tail slowly disappearing, and breaths air from the surface of the water. The film ends with a fully grown frog sitting in grass on a lawn.
End title: The end
